In some parts of the Retalon Web Site you may be asked to provide
information about yourself and your organization. This information
may include name, business address, telephone number and e-mail
contact information and/or information regarding your position,
computer systems environment and the nature of your data management/data
replication needs. This information is generally provided by
filling out and submitting an online form. It may also be provided
in other ways, for example by transmission of an e-mail message
or other communication to Retalon. Providing information is
voluntary, and you do not have to provide any information to
Retalon. However, you may not be able to obtain certain products,
services or information from the Retalon Web site if you choose
not to provide the requested information.
Retalon collects information from you to support our business
relationship with you. Retalon treats your information as confidential
business records, and uses your information in the course of
its business to communicate with you, to facilitate transactions
and to support and enhance your business relationship with Retalon.
If you have requested information from Retalon, the information
you provide is used to send you the requested information. Retalon
may also send you other information about products and services
offered by Retalon that we think may be of interest to you.
If you download Retalon trial software, your information is
retained by Retalon to record you as a trial user of Retalon
software, and to follow up with you regarding your use of the
software.
Retalon does not sell information collected from users of the
Retalon Web site to other companies or organizations. Information
provided over the Retalon Web site is initially collected by
Retalon Inc. in Ontario, Canada. Retalon may share information
with or disclose information to its various affiliates and subsidiaries
worldwide, as well as others with whom it does business (for
example, service providers assisting in a customer mailing or
business partners). In such cases Retalon makes every effort
to ensure that these third parties are committed to maintaining
the confidentiality of such information.
